The Opel Kadett B… remarkable but really nothing special. On the other hand the sports version of the Opel Kadett B Coupé turned a run-of-the-mill car into a rarity because it was the pioneer of the GTI-class, already ten years before the launch of the VW Golf GTI. This Opel Kadett Rallye Coupé is a true reference specimen. The car survived completely undamaged in the south of Italy and presents itself in excellent original condition, completely unrestored and for the most part in its original paint. The interior is in immaculate condition. Even the original service booklet and the first Italian libretto are present. Until 2017 this Rallye Kadett had only 1 original owner and then went into a collection in Munich. Despite its small displacement the car offers surprisingly good and sporty driving characteristics.
