German first delivery in unrestored original condition, mostly in original paintwork
This late example of the Volkswagen Samba was delivered to its first owner in May 1966 via the VW dealership Josef Wittig in Remscheid, Germany and is now – after almost 60 years – in a fantastic state of preservation without ever having been restored. As special equipment the car was fitted with a split driver’s seat (walk-through), sliding door (instead of swing doors), extendable running board and a Westfalia-trailer coupling. The car is predominantly in its original paintwork, is matching numbers and fantastically documented. In addition to the original new car order and the new car invoice, the on-board folder with service booklet, owners manual and the old German cardboard title are also available.
An extremely rare opportunity to acquire an exceptional example of the German cult micro bus in all original condition.
