1972 – Mercedes-Benz – 280 SE/C 5.0 – W111 Coupé

This wonderful car combines the classic elegance of the W111 coupe, arguably the most beautiful Mercedes coupe of all time, with the perfect engineering, reliability and the high performance of the Mercedes 500 SE of the W126 series, thus offering all the benefits of a classic automotive design, suitability for everyday use and maximum comfort.

As a base served a 1972 Mercedes 280 SE low grill coupe with excellent substance, factory optioned with sunroof, air conditioning, 4 electric windows, tinted glass and automatic transmission. This was equipped by the Mercedes specialists “Klassik Stern” in Munich with a factory-new 5 liter engine of the 500 SE(L)/C, W126. For best driving characteristics, the car now runs on 15″ high-speed tires and a special Bilstein suspension. Last but not least, the long-reduction rear axle of a 300 SEL 6.3 ensures a high top speed.

This remarkable and exceptional vehicle will certainly not be for the enthusiast of uncompromising originality but will much rather meet the demands of the pleasure driver who wants to make stylish, carefree and extended trips with this car.
