Certainly unique and irretrievable is this impressively original preserved Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupé. An early example of the 1960 model year, with the new, revised Type 14 body. Delivered in May 1960 in Berlin, finally decommissioned in January 1988 and since then in a collection of a Berlin VW dealership, this beautiful car presents itself in a pristine original condition. A professional paint thickness measurement as well as a thermographic thermal scan by TÜV Rheinland confirm that the vehicle is without exception in the original paint, which also presents itself in immaculate condition. Likewise, all chrome and trim parts as well as the entire interior are in impeccable original condition and reflect the vehicle’s low mileage. Presumably, even the Metzeler whitewall tires are those of the original delivery. The first German cardboard title, the original Berlin license plates since first registration, the owner’s manual, a Volkswagen Classic certificate and the detailed appraisal of TÜV Rheinland are included with the car.

A unique opportunity to acquire a pristine and beautifully preserved, unrestored VW Karmann Ghia in concours condition.
