1963 – Volkswagen – Beetle 1200 De Luxe

This right-hand drive Volkswagen Beetle 1200 De Luxe with rag top was delivered in Sunne in southern Sweden in January 1963 and remained in original ownership until 2014. The car was then added to the collection of a private VW museum in Sweden. It is an unrestored top vehicle in an outstanding state of preservation. Apart from minor touch-ups to the right front fender and the driver’s door, the car is all original paint. The substance of all assembly elements impresses with its originality and rust-free condition down to the last detail, even with the known specific weak points of this model. An extensive service using only genuine VW parts was carried out a few kilometers ago. The attractive color combination and the contemporary accessories give the car a charming appearance.
